Does my child need early intervention?

Early childhood (birth to 3 years) is an exciting time of rapid growth and development. While all children learn and develop at their own pace, some may benefit from a little extra support to strengthen communication skills and reduce frustration. If you have concerns about your child's communication, early intervention speech and language therapy can provide support to help them thrive.

When should I seek an evaluation?

If you have concerns about your child’s development, it’s best not to wait to seek early intervention. The early years of life are a critical period for brain development, when the neural connections that support learning, behavior, and overall development are most adaptable.

Because of this, support is often most effective when it is provided early.

Children under the age of 3 can receive a free and comprehensive speech-language evaluation. Contact me to get started.
